Casa Montessori
Childhood as it should be.

Welcome
At Casa we draw on the Montessori philosophy to nurture human potential by meeting children where they are in the present moment. Our approach is student-led and self-paced and guided, assessed, and enriched by knowledgeable and caring teachers in a curated learning environment. Our classrooms, garden, and school encourage independence, curiosity, and creativity, allowing children to develop essential life skills and a love for learning.
With a focus on hands-on, engaging experiences that are grounded in reality, nature and our local community yet promote a global outlook, children gain confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a deep sense of respect for themselves and others. Our Montessori-trained guides accompany each child on their natural path, supporting them to explore, question, and make connections. Montessori students grow up to be confident, enthusiastic, and self-directed people with a keen sense of justice.
Rooted in love, growing with purpose.
A natural childhood
Our organisational ethos is centred on social and environmental responsibility.
The Montessori ethos places a strong emphasis on the connection between children and nature. At Casa we have adopted the Forest Schools approach to outdoor learning, integrating experiences of nature with curricular learning in maths, science, language and literacy. There is no substitute for outdoor experiences for children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Beyond our large, natural and evolving garden, we also offer local outings and extended forest kindergarten sessions. We encourage children to explore nature’s seasons, fostering a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of life. By spending time in nature, children cultivate a sense of wonder, their resilience, and ecological literacy that stays with them throughout their lives.
